ECSC HISTORY
In the summer of 1981 with the spirit of harambee, the Ebony City Soccer Club, Lil' Peles Soccer team was established to provide a vehicle that would help channel the energy of the area youth in a positive direction.
Lil' Peles: The Name
Derived from the nickname of the undisputed Master of the game, Brazilian born soccer player Edson Arantes do Nascimento (Pele). His background as a youth was one of poverty and a determination to acquire excellence in whatever he participated in.
